This spring gold plated money clip screams Mafia. I can almost imagine a huddle of well-dressed men around a table full of bundles of money. The huddle exudes much strength and power rather than something illegal and threatening.

In reality, men of the Mafia are people just like you and me. They also value family and friends, maybe even more than most. What distinguishes them from the common men, even the regular gangsters, is the style with which they conduct their business.

Sure, the Mafia has built a reputation of crime and murder. They are also known to be a big family, usually of Italian origins. What they really are, however, is a corporation. The officers may be members of the same family, but they are officers of a corporation nonetheless. Ultimately, a Mafia is in the business of making money, by honest means along with potentially illegal deals. Either way, they make money. This is perhaps why money clips remind one of Mafias. There is just too much money available to fit into a regular wallet or purse!

Another distinctive feature of Mafias’ wardrobe is a shiny pair of cufflinks. These are probably no less than designer cufflinks. Their fashion sense speaks volumes about the wealth and power that they hold.  It’s probably not the always the actual suit because they’re mostly all black but maybe the details of the suit as well as the confidence of their walk that make them stand out in a crowd. Perhaps with the same attention to detail and level of confidence, anyone can send out an air of Mafia.
