Vintage, retro, aged, old school, it’s all cool. We love to have reminders of days past, maybe it’s a desire to hang on to our youth or maybe for the young it’s a curiosity and a longing to be different. And for some pack rats, it’s just too hard to let go of the past, which makes them collect everything that they have, and the question of need is not even discussed. Modern and hip is great, but more often than not the hippest kids are wearing vintage gear. From clothes, to cars to watches and backpacks there is no limit to where we can sport the vintage version.

These cufflinks are no different, there are the classic vintage antiqued looking pieces and the retro sixties inspired designs. There’s even a pair of buffalo design cuff links that look like the ones worn by a guy who just fell out the door of a saloon after losing a game of poker.

Our universal obsession with vintage will continue on because the eighties are now officially 20 years past, they are the sixties for today’s generation. Little do todays’ teenagers realize that their ultra modern blue ray disks will one day be categorized under the vintage cufflink section of an accessory store! The point is that they will still be sought after and will take on a whole new aura of glamour and trendiness. The question is what will be the most modern piece of technological design of the 2040’s, it’s impossible to imagine given the current rate of change.
