It was the first time that I was going to meet my boyfriend’s parents so I wanted everything to be perfect. I am the type of person who panics about everything so I thought I’d better get everything prepared nice and early.

I had decided on my outfit (crisp white blouse, grey trousers with the pink pinstripes, pink heels, my heart pendant and my heart shaped earrings) and was practicing how to wear my hair! What if they didn’t like me? What if they thought I wasn’t good enough for their little boy?! I showed my boyfriend my outfit to see if he thought his parents would like it. His response? “It’s just a shirt and trousers”. He clearly knew nothing about fashion and it had taken me ages to decide on this outfit! Either way it struck a nerve and I decided to get a bracelet too. My boyfriend (the one with no fashion sense) asked me why I needed a bracelet if I was wearing a long sleeved shirt, then it hit me! I went in search and found these heart cufflinks. They matched my jewellery perfectly and they made me look so sophisticated! Who would have known there was so much to choose from when it came to ladies cufflinks?

So when I did get round to meeting his parents I was so nervous but the minute his Mum asked me where I got my cufflinks from I felt a whole lot more relaxed and even let her borrow them!
