I was really fed up at work. I wasn’t enjoying the job and had just had enough. I couldn’t leave because we needed the money and I knew there were no other jobs around because believe me I’d looked.

I couldn’t really put my finger on what was annoying me at work. It wasn’t the people because they were really friendly, it wasn’t the managers because they got on with everyone, it wasn’t even the money because that was quite good. But something just didn’t make me happy there anymore. Maybe it went deeper than just the job. Maybe it was a confidence boost that I needed or a change of direction. I confided in my girlfriends and they suggested a new wardrobe to make me feel better about myself. I went out with them and we spent the whole day buying new clothes for the office. I had some new suits, new skirts and some lovely lady blouses that will look great in the summer. But the best bit about my new wardrobe (not including the shoes) were my new pairs of women’s cufflinks. I didn’t realize that they made women’s sterling silver cufflinks until my friend told me. My favorite pair has to be the fuchsia wave cufflinks. They go with everything and really add a bit of glamour to my outfits.

Now that I have my new wardrobe my self confidence has gone through the roof and I really feel better about myself and my job again. I only hope that I won’t have to do this every time I feel a bit down because a whole new wardrobe has cost me a fortune!
