Rubik’s Cube

CD 1050 Rubik’s Cube Invented by Hungarian architect Erno Rubik and sold to Ideal Toys in 1980, the Rubik’s Cube is one of the most readily identifiable relics of the 80’s and is considered by many to be the greatest selling toy of all time, having sold more than 350 million worldwide as of 2009.  Deceptively simple, you just scramble the cube and then do what you can to unscramble it, moving the sides and blocks around until you get matching colors on each of the cube’s six sides.  Some people were so good at this puzzle that they could solve it within a minute no matter how scrambled it was.  When you wear these Rubik’s Cube Cufflinks on your sleeve people will immediately recognize what they are despite them only having eight blocks instead of the 27 that are in a normal sized Rubik’s Cube.  Recreation cufflinks add some delight and sparkle to your ensemble that smoothes out the sharp edges of any formal wear to cut down on the seriousness of things and makes work and play that much more enjoyable, and it doesn’t hurt to let loose every now and then especially when you reveal you have a fondness for 80’s nostalgia.  These are an exquisite addition to your collection of silver cufflinks that’ll enable you to mix up your look a little bit to keep it looking fresh and vibrant for as long as you can before requiring another trip to the department store.  And if you happen to be one of those incredible people who can unscramble Rubik’s Cube in less than a minute, that’s not a bad thing to be known by in your circles.
